Workers’ Compensation, Workers Compensation or Worker Compensation Workers’ Comp, Workmans’ Comp, Workmens’ Compensation. The system provides compensation  benefits for industrial injury, injuries, illnesses.  They are also called  workplace accidents or injuries; or occupational injury, injuries, or illnesses.

The system prevents employer from discrimination or discriminating against the injured workers.  This includes Labor Code Section 132a or 132(a).

In California, Workers’ Compensation is administered through the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board or WCAB or W.C.A.B and is guided by the Labor Code and attorney or attorneys, lawyer or lawyers are allowed to represent disabled workers.
